Today we are going to discuss about the best web browser for 2020. The web browser for most people is the most important software on their computers. Thankfully you have several great internet browsers to choose from with so many options. It’s best to try out as many as you can to find the one that best fits your needs. Over the last few months, I have installed just about every internet browser that is known to determine which one is the best. The key factors I have been looking at include built-in features, ease of use, and overall speed on high and low powered systems. So let’s start with the first!
1. Google Chrome
Google Chrome performed great on newer desktop and laptop with no issues. On an old system, Chrome is a little slow browser to open. But there is no major difference. Chrome is still one of the best browsers on newer computers.
Chrome will automatically synchronize between all your different devices. So if you add a bookmark to your computer and you want to now go to that bookmark on your tablet, there is no button I have to push it automatically synchronizes with all those different devices.
Coming in at number two as the best web browser is Mozilla Firefox. Firefox just recently had its largest update in more than ten years which they codenamed Firefox quantum this update brought in a new engine for faster performance that uses less computer memory when loading pages. This was especially noticeable on the older laptop. Syncing between devices works great. You can even share open tabs between your desktop, cell phone and tablet with the send tabs feature.
Firefox introduced a new system for extensions with the Quantum update that prevents rogue developers from making malicious changes to the internal code of the browser. As a result, many users were upset with some of their favorite extensions no longer worked. To be fair the developers of these extensions were notified nearly two years prior to the update of the changes.

Safari is the built-in browser for your Mac. Safari has the advantage in privacy. There are a lot of great privacy features and most of them stem from the fact that Apple isn’t trying to advertise to you. Safari works in the Apple ecosystem so it’s using iCloud to sync things like your passwords, bookmarks and if you’re using iPhones, iPads, and Macs then all of that is pretty much automatically synced between your devices. You can even see what Safari tabs are open in other devices.
Safari also has something called Reader View. It takes an article that you’re viewing and gives it to you without distractions.
At number four of Best Web Browser category we have Opera here. Initially released in 1995, Opera has always been an innovator. Many features including pop-up blocking, private browsing, tabbed browsing, and others have later been adopted by other web browsers.
Opera currently has free unlimited VPN features and a built-in adblocker. If you don’t have the fastest internet speed you’ll appreciate the turbo features which compresses web traffic. , could make webpages load faster. On the upper right of the speed dial page, if you select the easy setup icon you have the option to switch between a light or a dark theme, change your wallpaper, select whether you want to block ads or not along with other settings that you can change quickly.
Vivaldi was built by the team that used to make the Opera web browser. Vivaldi has pages upon pages of settings for customizing the interface in many different ways. Vivaldi includes a reader mode to clear the clutter when reading articles. Vivaldi also has other powerful features like stacking, vertical tabs, mouse gestures, and more are built into Vivaldi.
